team to continue winning. After 40 minutes, the Portuguese striker—who had come to Glasgow on loan from Wolves—opened his Gers
account when he pounced on a loose ball inside the box and slammed it past Livi goalkeeper Shamal George.
Rangers closed the gap on Celtic to three points with a game remaining after midfielder Todd Cantwell scored a Ross McCausland cut-
back on minute 56. Rabbi Matondo, a winger, added a second goal just before the half with a deflected long-range strike.
