David Njoku Sounds Off On Analyst That Doubted The Browns
Adam Rank of NFL Network Fantasy Football, and David Njoku of the Cleveland Browns,
have been exchanging sharp barbs.
Rank took some time to respond to Njoku’s most recent remarks.
Njoku made the remarks in question following the Browns’ Thursday playoff victory.
They were in reference to Rank’s prediction that the team would finish 6-11.
Following some serious injuries to important Browns players,
Rank made the forecast,
and a lot of observers and supporters agreed with him,
doubting Cleveland’s ability to recover.
Consequently, Njoku declared after securing a postseason berth,
“When everyone got hurt, everyone doubted us and said we weren’t going to do whatever.”
Adam Rank is a dude who is really bad at everything.
Our destiny is in our hands.
Adam Rank on Twitter said that in response,
Rank spent a minute on his program “NFL Fantasy Live” discussing how glad he is for the Browns
and why he doesn’t understand Njoku’s outrage.
To be fair, once Deshaun Watson, Nick Chubb, and other players became hurt,
Rank was by no means the only one to have doubts about the Browns.
To his credit, after the Browns won their first game under Joe Flacco’s leadership,
Rank acknowledged that he was mistaken.
Rank continued by wishing the Browns the best of luck in the postseason and adding that,
ever since Flacco came into the picture,
he has been a fervent fan and believer in the team.
More power to Njoku, though,
if he feels the need to take Rank’s remarks personally.
