Due to his decision to leave Roberto de Zerbi’s team in search of regular playing time elsewhere during the summer, Undav is now on loan at Stuttgart from Brighton.

He discovered it at Stuttgart, where he has thrived. In 10 Bundesliga games this season, he has eight goals, two assists, and one DFB Pokal goal.

Due to Undav’s availability and the fact that new manager Julian Nagelsmann is allegedly looking to add new players to his roster, he has apparently come to the attention of the German national team.

One such player is Undav, who holds dual citizenship with Germany and Turkey but has not yet represented either country on the pitch.

After reaching out to the Brighton striker, Nagelsmann learned that the player was taken aback when he received the call.

“I will definitely play for Germany if I get the chance,” he declared to reporters following the 2-0 cup victory over Borussia Dortmund, which Nagelsmann had witnessed.

“I was shocked when he called. We’ll see where this topic goes, but it was good.

German professional football player Deniz Undav was born on July 19, 1996, and is currently on loan at VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga from Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
