According to reports, the 33-year-old seriously damaged his Audi Q8 and activated the airbags when he smashed it into a low wall.

Balotelli managed to get out of the car,

although he was seen limping a little bit as he approached a nearby ambulance.

Giornale di Brescia further assert that Balotelli’s driver’s licence was seized as a result of his refusal to submit to a breathalyser test.

The report also states that Balotelli was picked up from the crash scene and driven home by his brother Enock Barwuah.
