Destiny Udogie’s clearance to play against Aston Villa has given Tottenham a boost in terms of injuries.

The left-back had to pull out from the Italy squad because of a hamstring injury  yet has since gotten back to training and is available to play on Sunday.

Spurs, who are without James Maddison, Richarlison, Manor Solomon, Ivan Perisic,

and Ryan Sessegnon due to injuries, are relieved that he is fit.

Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma are both suspended for

the Estate game, when Spurs will bid to get back on track after successive defeats by

Chelsea and Wolves before the international break.

Romero will serve the second of his three-match ban following his red card in the 4-1 loss to Chelsea,

while Bissouma got his fifth yellow card of the season in the 2-1 loss at Wolves.

Udogie has been one of the best full-backs in the

Premier League up to this point this season.He missed the defeat at

Wolves after he was sent off against Chelsea.

Emerson Royal filled in for Udogie at left-back as as part of a makeshift defence at Molineux but

the Italian will return into the team against in-form Villa,

who have made a fine beginning to the season under Unai Emery and are just a single point behind

Spurs in the table.

Destiny Udogie has conceded 8 goals and kept 4 clean sheets in 10 matches in the Premier League 2023/2024 season. when Udogie is on the pitch, his team concede a goal every 99 minutes.
