Paul Brown has demanded criticism of the Everton management team,

arguing that another point deduction for the team would be extremely damaging.

The former Express journalist went on to claim that the new charge against Everton would not be as much of a clear-cut case as the last one was and

stated there is still a long way to go in the process.

Although supporters have fiercely demonstrated against the Premier League since the initial point deduction was announced,

the owners have so far escaped the fans’ fury, but things could soon change.

“I don’t think from what I hear this would be as clear-cut a case as the previous one from the commission’s point of view,”

Brown said in an interview with GIVEMESPORT on January 16.

“Thus, I believe there is still much to be done before Everton receives another point deduction, but if that turns out to be the case, I believe it would be

extremely damaging to the club’s management,

and they deserve to be held accountable for it.”

There is no deadline attached to the additional charge other than the fact that it will be resolved by the end of the season. However,

there has been talk  of a possibly problematic post-season final ruling resulting from an appeal.

Although it has been speculated that the punishment for the most recent infraction would be a fine rather than another ten-point threat, it might be

terrible for Everton’s season if they are issued another points deduction.
