With 40 1/2 sacks in his first three seasons in the NFL, Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons is regarded as one of the best defensive players in the game. Even though Parsons’s output has contributed significantly to his team’s recent success, a former NFL player believes Parsons is failing the Cowboys.

Wide receiver Jesse Holley, a member of the Cowboys from 2009 to 2011, spoke on Ray Ray’s Podcast about why he thinks Parsons needs to do more for Dallas to succeed.

Holley stated on the show this Wednesday that “Micah Parsons is probably the most selfish player on this football team.”

Additionally, Holley asserted that Parsons’s preference to stay a pass-rusher is detrimental to the club since it prevents him from becoming a truly exceptional all-around defender.

Holley stated, “Micah Parsons does not want to play linebacker because it is too much of a responsibility.” “Perhaps it’s just his youthful nature.” Micah has no desire to learn. Although Micah doesn’t want to concentrate, I firmly think Micah wants to succeed for Micah.

Friday saw the viral success of Holley’s remarks, with “Micah Parsons” becoming a topic on X, the former Twitter.

Following Holley’s severe criticism, a large number of Dallas supporters took offense and defended the Cowboys star on social media.

The Cowboys will almost definitely face harsh criticism from both NFL analysts and fans as long as they perform poorly in the playoffs.
