Cashman confident on a rebound by Rizzo

Cashman is sure that Rizzo will comeback; the Yankees are the only team

that has made an offer to Snell thus far;

Orioles are ranked first in the AL East by experts.

Nick Deeds claims that Anthony Rizzo’s 2023 pre- and post-injury states

were very different.

His May 28th collision with Fernando Tatis Jr.

at first base resulted in post-concussion syndrome, which left him

with frightening neurological symptoms and significantly impacted

his effectiveness.
In addition to having noticeably delayed reaction times, he felt uneasy.

But over the weekend, general manager Brian Cashman presented a

far more positive image. Though he cautioned that brain injuries are

“tricky,” he stated that the first baseman is cleared to play baseball to

the fullest extent and that “doctors are not worried about symptoms of

post-concussion syndrome returning in 2024.”

According to Mark Feinsand, the Yankees reportedly made Blake Snell

an offer this month for a six-year, $150 million contract. However,

when the reigning NL Cy Young turned down that offer,

the team turned to Marcus Stroman.

Feinsand claims that it is still the only official one he has been sent thus far.
This does not imply that the Yanks have a better chance than yesterday

of signing him; major rotational movements right now are improbable.

But facts are facts, and the Yankees are the only team that has extended a

contract offer to Snell thus far. However, there are several teams that

are interested, and the Yankees are by no means the front-runners.

Might the market finally turn to their advantage? If such is the case,
