Cowboys cheerleader calls out Packers football players for game behaviour

A Dallas Cowboys cheerleader has been vocal about her observations from the team’s playoff game against the Green Bay Packers last week.
Darian Lassiter shared her thoughts on the “disrespect” during the game on January 14 on TikTok. The Packers prevailed 48 to 32 in

the end to win the Wild Card Round encounter.

In her five years as an NFL cheerleader, she said, “So I cheer for the Cowboys and y’all I have never experienced such disrespect from

the other team’s players to the cheerleaders.”

The cheerleader then began listing examples for what the players were doing during the football game. She said when the Packers

would score a touchdown, they would come up to the Cowboys cheerleaders and “start yelling.” Lassiter mentioned that personal

boundaries weren’t always taken into account as the yelling would sometimes occur only inches away from the cheerleaders’ faces.

“I feel like that’s unsportsmanlike conduct,” she said in her TikTok. “It’s so crazy how they can’t do that to the Cowboys players or

other players, but they can do it to the cheerleaders and nothing’s gonna happen.”

“I really do realize how big of a deal the playoffs are. However, that does not imply you have to abandon your modesty and regard for women.

“Now that the Cowboys are out, I’m rooting for every team but them,” she said in closing.

Several people expressed their deep sympathy for Lassiter in the TikTok comments section after her video had received over 600,000 views.
It’s not like you could leave, so I can only image how uneasy and possibly dangerous it must have felt. So repulsive. One remark said,

“You are a beautiful representation of strength and poise for DCC.”

In agreement, another reader wrote, “I’m glad you spoke your opinion. All the affection from a Fort Worth resident who has been a

lifelong Cowboys and DCC fan. I’m cheering for the Packers right now, but not just any team.

“As someone from GB & a pack fan, this is NOT the Packers way. I’m so sorry you experienced this!!” a third commenter wrote.

Even another fellow Cowboys cheerleader chimed in writing, “Amen! They were extremely disrespectful to us and I was shocked.”
