Moon Vibes: Why Lions Dominate Buccaneers

This moon type has a 3-1 record for lions.

To be honest, not a single person at All Lions is an expert on the moon.

However, superstitions and non-sports-related statistics are always entertaining.

All Lions said in an email to the Lions PR staff last week that they would like to visit Dallas in the event that the Lions go past the Rams and face the Cowboys in the Divisional round.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys were lackluster and uninspired, and the Packers easily trounced them at home.

This week, our magazine reiterated its desire to cover the Lions in the NFC Championship Game, should the Lions overcome the Buccaneers, in an attempt to be as prepared as possible.

So of course, I sent the same email to the Lions’ PR department at precisely the same time I had the week before.

Based on our seating arrangement at Allen Park, even head coach Dan Campbell revealed a hint of his superstitious character.

With all of the Lions seated in the first row, the Lions were 8-2 at the moment.

Due to traffic on the Southfield expressway, the author was a little bit late for one of Campbell’s press conferences.

That’s why I decided to sit in the back, being the considerate reporter that I am and not wanting to interfere with a live media session.

Campbell brought up our new seating arrangement right away, saying that with us in front, the squad was six games over.500.

We will not discuss what transpired that week on the field.

In order to guarantee a Lions victory, All Lions behaved exactly the same way this week, including sitting in the front row.

“Moon vibes”

A well-known sports writer in the area mentioned that the Lions have previously experienced success based on the moon’s phase.

“The Lions played the Bucs in the playoffs once before, in 1997,” claims A to Z Sports. That day the moon was a new moon. I’m not sure if that is related to vampires or not. This Sunday sees a waxing gibbous moon. With waxing gibbous moons this year, the Lions are 3-1.”

The Lions have to be heavy favorites to win their second straight home playoff game because the stars are aligning.
