A four-goal explosion in the second half wasn’t enough for Wolves to secure their first win of the season, as they drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace and remain bottom of the league.

Strand Larsen sparked the comeback for Wolves, leveling the score after Chalobah had put Palace in front. Minutes later, Gomes completed the turnaround, giving Wolves the lead with a well-taken goal.

Just as Wolves seemed to be heading for victory, Palace struck back. Guehi was on hand to level the score in the 77th minute, poking home from close range after a corner kick caused chaos in the Wolves box.

Palace will rue their missed opportunities as they were forced to settle for a point. They carved out numerous chances, particularly in the first half, and could have been out of sight by the break.

The draw sees Wolves remain bottom with three points, while Palace move up to 17th with seven points.
