West Ham make move to sign ‘outrageously amazing’ Ferdi Kadıoğlu for £25 million

Ferdi Kadıoğlu is a top target for West Ham United this summer, according to a Turkish

newspaper.Julen Lopetegui, the new West Ham manager, appears to be set on boosting his squad

at the London Stadium this summer.We’ve already told you that the Hammers boss has roughly

£90 million to spend this summer, before considering any potential player sales.Lopetegui’s

priority for the summer transfer window appear to be signing a top-class centre-back and a proven

centre-forward.In my opinion, the Spaniard should also focus on improving the full-back positions,

since Emerson Palmieri and Vladimir Coufal require more competition and cover.Lopetegui is

reportedly interested in signing Turkish star Ferdi Kadıoğlu as a new left-back this summer. This

season, the Turkish defender has been in exceptional form, earning admiring looks from some of

the world’s top teams.

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, and Napoli have all expressed an interest in signing him.

It appears that the Hammers have also thrown their hat into the ring.

According to Fotospor, West Ham are planning a summer bid for Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi

Kadıoğlu. The Hammers apparently made an enquiry for the 24-year-old and were told that we

would need to pay £25 million to gain his services. The board’s willingness to pay that kind of sum

remains to be seen, but he boasts so much quality that £25 million might wind up looking like a

steal.
