West Ham United has received a significant advantage in the competition to secure a significant

summer transfer target.

The primary focus of new West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui appears to be on

acquiring a world-class center forward.

We can be certain that Michail Antonio won’t be our starting center forward in the upcoming campaign.

The Jamaican international is reportedly something Lopetegui wants in his lineup, and that’s

all well and good, but he can’t be a consistent starter for us.

Armando Broja, a star player for Chelsea, has been declared surplus to requirements at

Stamford Bridge and is now likely headed to West Ham.

It seems that the west London team has made a significant choice regarding the

gifted young forward.

West Ham gave Armando Broja a significant boost.

It appears that the Albanian international will be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

In an attempt to entice possible buyers, Chelsea reportedly reduced his asking price from £50

million to £30 million. This information was reported by The Express.

The 22-year-old striker was heavily connected to a summer 2022 move to the Hammers,

but all thoughts of a possible transfer were dashed when he sustained an ACL injury in December of that same year.

The Athletic has called him a “exceptional” striker, and the West Ham players once pleaded with

David Moyes to sign him after he repeatedly let them down when on loan at Southampton.

He did not fare well during his loan term at Fulham, and his injury history is quite worrying.

But I have no doubt that Armando Broja would be a fantastic player for West Ham

if he could stay healthy for the ensuing few years.

Everything hinges on how willing the Hammers‘ owners are to pay £30 million to sign him

and take a chance on him.

Nonetheless, the risk is lessened by the £20 million cut in his asking price.
