Celtic lavishly feted themselves after winning the Scottish Premiership.

At Parkhead, Celtic completed the task with a 3-2 victory and a healthy 93 points for the season,

despite St Mirren taking the lead after just seven minutes.

Considering how the squad finished the season, Brendan Rodgers should be happy with way things went down.

However, the back-to-back Celtic manager has answered back, dispelled critics,

and now he’s the proud owner of another Scottish Premiership trophy.

The team’s success has been greatly attributed to its players,

which include captain and ever-reliable Callum McGregor, Player of the Year Matt O’Riley,

midfield dynamo Reo Hatate, Scotland’s finest defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, and the always dependable Joe Hart.

One name will most definitely not be at the club come season,

but it’s unclear if certain well-known players will remain when the summer transfer window opens.

That’s Hart, as he has made the decision to retire, and the Scottish Cup final against Rangers next week

will mark the end of an illustrious career filled with trophies.

The 37-year-old made the call early in the season,

but James McFadden told Sky Sports on May 18, 24 at 11:45 am, that he believes he is making a mistake.

The former Scotland international feels that Hart has called his quits “too soon” and feels that he still has more to give.

The former Manchester City player was reportedly “surprised” by how much he had loved his time in Glasgow, according to McFadden.

The shot-stopper also won the Treble while playing for Ange Postecoglou.

Joe Hart to retire

McFadden remarked, “Joe Hart has had a tremendous career.”

“I am aware that it occurs, particularly as one ages. unsure of your ability to enter and make a difference.

Joe has probably contributed his experience.

You can tell how much Ange (Postecoglou) enjoyed playing and joining a large club once more,

especially from the manner he wanted to play.

That demonstrated a winning mindset and was winning prizes.

I believed he carried that mindset into the club. That seemed incredibly important to me.

He has a lot of character. It’s evident from the way he plays. In the dressing room and on the practice field, he is the same.

Given that he will undoubtedly conclude his career as a Celtic player at the end of it,

he has probably loved this more than he would have anticipated.

I believe he’s likely been taken aback by how much he’s genuinely grown and appreciated it.

I believe that he has reminded everyone exactly how excellent a goalie he is,

especially this season. In my opinion, he has probably decided to retire too soon; I’m not sure if this is a personal choice.

This season has demonstrated that he is still a premier goalie and that he has at least one more season left in him.

Joe Hart’s career

from Manchester City championship victories. 75 caps for England. To represent the largest Scottish club. plus a time spent overseas.

For Hart, it has been an incredible career that he will always remember.
Some may argue that he should continue because he still has more to give, but you would much prefer retire at the top than face expulsion.

In this manner, he ends his career on his terms, having won the Scottish Cup final versus Rangers at Hampden, and there’s a good probability it ends in victory.
