Ashley Young thinks Jarrad Branthwaite has to be starting for England

This summer will present Gareth Southgate with the chance to have faith in Branthwaite,

one of the most promising young defenders in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old has made 41 appearances for Everton this season in all competitions,

and there isn’t much more he could have done to win over Southgate in a dismal Toffees team.

Furthermore, Young has acknowledged that he believes Branthwaite is a player

who would feel more than at ease leading the Three Lions at the Euros this summer.
“He could probably start [for England], in my opinion. With enough assurance,

I would advise starting him. Should he be summoned, he would easily blend in there.

He possesses every quality needed to be a fantastic center half for many years.
