Tomorrow afternoon, Callum McGregor will lead Celtic against Rangers in the Cup Final with the

intention of adding to his incredible record of victories.

The inspiring captain of the Hoops will be aiming to secure his TWELFTH consecutive title at Hampden to

continue his incredible 100% record in pivotal matches.

McGregor began the first of five Scottish Cup celebrations following Tom Rogic’s thrilling,

game-winning goal with seconds remaining in the 2-1 victory over Aberdeen in 2017.

The 30-year-old midfielder for the Scotland national team continued the winning streak

with wins against Motherwell (2-0), Hearts (2-0 and 3-3 away from home, 4-3 on penalties),

and Inverness Caley Thistle (3-1).

Six League Cups, the most recent of which was the 2-1 victory over the opponents of tomorrow in

February of last year, when Kyogo Furuhashi completed a double, should be added to that amazing record.

In the 2015 League Cup Final, Ronny Deila’s squad defeated Dundee United 2-0, and McGregor was not

deployed as a replacement.

As a member of the youth squad, you could even add five, and he won on each of those five occasions.

Speaking in a CQN broadcast following last season’s League Cup victory over the Ibrox team, which was then led by Michael Beale, a grin-filled McGregor stated: “It’s not a bad record, is it

The on-field leader for Celtics said at the same moment: “You’re desperate to win when you get to the Finals.” It gets even better when you add in the fact that it’s the Rangers. Additionally, the method we chose to do it was pleasant. In my opinion, we played a fantastic first half.

“We had some excellent football play. We had to dig in and play a different game in the second half, but all in all, I was happy for the boys.

Trophies are won by good teams, and they do so again and time again. In football, it’s the ultimate goal.

In June of last year, McGregor won his eleventh Hampden victory when he defeated Inverness Caley Thistle 3-1 at Hampden.

Additionally, it was the anchorman’s FIFTH home

Speaking to Celtic TV, McGregor continued, “When I get to these occasions, I just try and really focus on the game, what you’ve got to do to make it a success and also focus on the team.” He was looking forward to tomorrow’s match as he tried to add to his collection of awards.

“That selflessness, work ethic, and teamwork among teammates, as well as jogging and working through all the unpleasant aspects of the game that should help us cross the finish line.

“Hopefully, we’ll have another satisfying experience to look back on come Saturday.”

Callum McGregor may also add medal No. 21 to his increasing collection of celebrity accolades.
