David Moyes eager to win final West Ham game for fans and leave with one concern

If David Moyes wants to end his time at West Ham with a win, it’s not because he wants to repay former captain Declan Rice.

If the Hammers can shock the world in Moyes‘ final game as the club’s manager on Sunday against Manchester City, they could tip the title race in favor of Rice’s current team, Arsenal.

As the final round of Premier League games approaches, City leads the league by two points above Arsenal, who play host to Everton.

Despite the fact that his team is already guaranteed a ninth-place result, Moyes wants them to participate fully in the day’s events and maintains that they have individual goals.

Moyes believes he leaves the Hammers in good form after leading them to Europa Conference League glory the previous season, snapping a 43-year trophy drought.

“I’m incredibly proud to say that during my time at West Ham, I helped bring European football to the club,” he stated.

It’s not something that happens often here, and I believe that it’s been a good accomplishment to produce the results we have over the course of three years given the number of games we have played.

The fact that we were able to partially reunite the team both on and off the field is, in my opinion, one of the major achievements. People are happier now that we’ve introduced some stability, in my opinion, than they may have been before we moved in.
