After Tottenham Hotspur’s season-ending disaster, the atmosphere at the stadium is not great.

Although Ange Postecoglou’s team had multiple opportunities to take fourth place

and qualify for the Champions League again, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa ultimately prevailed.

They have repeatedly shot themselves in the foot, most notably during Tottenham’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City.

It was a big game for a lot of reasons, but the primary story was that if Spurs defeated Pep Guardiola’s team,

they could be able to support their London rivals in the Premier League title fight.

Prior to the match, Postecoglou was informed that a portion of his supporters wished for the game to finish

in defeat in order to deny Arsenal the upper hand in the game’s final weekend.
The home crowd’s anti-Arsenal chants were audible throughout the game, particularly after Erling Haaland opened the score.

The manager and a supporter got into a verbal fight behind the dugout, though it’s unclear what the argument was about.

In any case, Postecoglou wasn’t thrilled after the game and expressed as much,

saying that both inside and outside the club, there are “fragile foundations.”

Michael Owen was surprised to learn of those remarks since he didn’t fully grasp the 58-year-old’s point of reference.

The fact that the Spurs manager mentioned that these problems were discovered “in the last 48 hours” added to the intrigue.

However, according to what Owen told Premier League Productions on May 14, at 10:50 p.m.,

he believes something major is going to happen at Hotspur Way and that a “big story” is ready to get revealed.

“He doesn’t seem content, does he?” Owen asked in response to Postecoglou’s remarks. “I’m curious what that might be.

Has he met with any of the individuals listed above? If he had, it would surprise me if they were looking forward to the next season already.

That is a perplexing statement. But something is undoubtedly bothering and upsetting him right now.

That will surface in the upcoming hours and days. Not a content dude.

“When you consider the basis. What could have changed in the previous 48 hours? Not the playing team, please.

The amenities can’t be the cause. It’s likely the greatest training facility in the nation.

It’s the best stadium in the nation. It must be a high-level issue

. In terms of recruitment, it must take place behind closed doors,

in a meeting with the chairman, chief scouts, or anybody else involved.

That looks like a really major story that is going to brew, so I’m sure that will be released in the coming days.

You can’t blame Tottenham Hotspur fans

To put it plainly, almost every fan would act like some segments of Spurs supporters did on Tuesday night.

Arsenal would have preferred for their team to lose as well if the tables had been turned.
Indeed, there was a strange vibe in the stadium,

but the team didn’t play poorly, so you can’t say that had an impact on their performance.

Actually, Spurs should have scored and at least secured a point if they had taken their chances.

Why their club didn’t perform thus well in the north London derby may be a valid question

for Tottenham supporters to ask. or away at Newcastle United and Chelsea.
