After defeating Kilmarnock 5-0, Celtic secured their 12th Premiership title in 13 years and their third consecutive

Premiership victory.

In order to overcome Rangers’ challenge, Brendan Rodgers’ team only needed a point from their final two games,

and they handled their first try at Rugby Park on Thursday (AEST) with ease.

Within 12 minutes, Celtic led 2-0 thanks to goals from Adam Idah and Daizen Maeda. James

Forrest added a third goal just before the break.

Matt O’Riley, a midfielder, scored two goals in the second half to bring his league goal total to 17.

“To begin with, the team’s performance was outstanding. “I am incredibly proud of their handling of

pressure over the past few months and their performance against a highly skilled and well-organized Kilmarnock team,” Rodgers remarked.

“To play the game at that caliber—tactically, quickly, and with all the qualities I desire in a squad.

I’ve always been quick, creative, unpredictable, and strong. It was delightful to watch and really excellent.

I’m really happy to have made us champs.

“During the time I was gone, I would have most likely been daydreaming about that moment and wishing it would happen again.

It’s a very positive sensation.

At the conclusion of the season, the greatest team always comes out on top in the league, and it feels fantastic to be the

Scottish Champions once more.

It’s a fantastic accomplishment to win the Premiership, and Celtic fans everywhere will undoubtedly be celebrating.

The players should be commended greatly for their efforts this season. They have committed themselves daily to their

work and to doing all within their power to help our club achieve even greater success.

We’ve faced many challenges on this journey, but we have arrived successfully at our destination, which is to be the

Scottish Champions – this is the prize we work for, this is the one we live for.

It has been a fantastic team effort, with the coaching staff here and the entire staff at the club contributing,

and as always, our supporters have been a major factor in our success.

I’ve stated time and time again that this football team’s true strength is its unity, and when that happens, we can and do accomplish great things.

This evening at Rugby Park, we had incredible support once more, and I’m thrilled that we were able to win another title.

We now want to close the season with a bang, and we can’t wait to celebrate at Celtic Park on Saturday with 60,000 other Celtic fans.

Naturally, we are aware that this coming weekend will be yet another fantastic Celtic event. Trophy Days at Paradise are a unique occasion where players, staff, and supporters gather to celebrate the club’s accomplishments. I have had the good fortune to attend these events in the past.

I’m confident that we’ll all enjoy the day’s events, including, of course, ensuring that the league campaign ends successfully.

But football, in general, and this club in particular, are not content to rest on our laurels. We constantly strive to do better and continue giving our fans more success.

We will therefore relish the next few days in the knowledge that we are once again the Scottish Champions, but we will soon shift our attention to getting ready for the season’s last game, the Scottish Cup final at Hampden on May 25, and to doing everything within our power to ensure that trophy stays at Celtic Park.

But for now, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported me during this campaign. Starting the season with the goal of winning the Scottish Championship and finishing atop the table was our original plan.

We’ve done it! Now let’s all take a moment to congratulate our accomplishment, enjoy the moment, and acknowledge that we are the best team in Scotland.

Once more, you are a champion!

I am so grateful for your amazing help.

Rodgers, Brendan
