Wiggins, who is scoring a career-low 12.2 points per game this season, is a target for trade by the Warriors.

In his NBA column, Moore stated, “The other player the Warriors are looking to move is Andrew Wiggins,

whose plus-minus splits this season are essentially a horror show.” The Dallas Mavericks are the team that

has shown the greatest interest in Wiggins during the past two weeks, according to sources. Talks’ specifics

remain unknown. Wiggins would give Dallas a more reliable small forward option—Grant Williams, a free

agent addition, hasn’t performed well—who can also play power forward.

The 28-year-old Wiggins is shooting 43.7% from the field, 31.1% from beyond the arc, and 71.7%

from the free-throw line this season while dishing out 12.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.4 steals,

and 0.5 blocks on average. His plus-minus stands at -143.

In October 2022, following their victory over the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA championship,

the Warriors inked Wiggins to a four-year, $109 million contract deal. This season,

Wiggins is earning $24.3 million. In 2024–25, he will earn $26.3 million.

NBA insider Anthony Slater of The Athletic claims that the Warriors can deal Wiggins without needing

to include a draft pick. Player-for-player trade proposals have been received by Golden State for Wiggins.

In his NBA article, Slater stated that Wiggins “profiles as the most likely Warrior to be dealt.”

He’s playing for the first time on a four-year, $109 million contract. Wiggins has received player-for-player

proposals from the Warriors, according to league and team insiders. To get out of his contract, they wouldn’t

need to attach a draft pick. With the Minnesota Timberwolves and Warriors, Wiggins has averaged 18.7 points,

4.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks throughout his career. This season, the Dubs are only

21–25. According to the Western Conference standings, they are in 12th position.
