Nine World Cup games in 2026 will be held at AT&T Stadium.
ARLINGTON, Texas — During a FIFA event on Sunday afternoon to reveal the complete schedule of games for the
2026 FIFA World Cup, it was revealed that AT&T Stadium will host nine matches–more than any of the other 15
host venues–including a semi-final on July 14. Additionally, AT&T Stadium
will host group stage matches on June 14, June 17, June 22, June 25 and June 27 as well as two Roundof 32 matches
on June 30 and July 3 and one Round of 16 game on July 6. Ultimately, AT&T Stadium will host nine matches
during the tournament, which is more thanany of the other 15 host venues combined. After the 1994 World Cup, this
tournament will be the second in the event’s history to take place in the United States. Six tournament games were
held in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl that year, including a quarterfinal match between Brazil and the
Netherlands. The DFW Metroplex will host a semifinal for the first time in the tournament’s 2026 edition.
The CONCACAF Gold Cup matches that AT&T Stadium has hosted include the opening
matches in 2011,the semifinal matches in 2013, the semifinal match in 2017,
and the quarterfinal matchesin 2021 and 2023. The stadium has a rich history of hosting
soccer tournaments. It will be the venue’s firsttime hosting a final when it hosts the 2024
Nations League Finals in March. Up until the major event in 2026, the stadium is scheduled
to undergo a continuous series of modifications that have already started and will continue.
