Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce frequently discuss the 1990s.

While Swift, 34, previously sung that she “comes back stronger than a ’90s trend,” her NFL beau Kelce,

also 34, recently discussed ’90s arcade games on the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.

Travis and Jason, 36, discussed their childhood memories of playing games like Backyard Baseball, Backyard Football, NBA Jam, and NFL Blitz in the most recent podcast episode.

Travis elaborated on the impact of NFL Blitz, claiming that one specific maneuver helped the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 in the AFC Championship game on January 28.

“If you tell a male from the ’90s, ‘Run Da Bomb,’ they know exactly what you’re talking about,” Travis explained 83 minutes into the program. “It’s what we did to f—ing win the game against the Ravens, throwing it up to Marquez [Valdes-Scantling]. We ran Da Bomb. “It is the greatest play ever invented.”

That catch helped the Chiefs secure their position in the Super Bowl. After the Ravens game, Kelce approached Swift on the field and kissed her.

Meanwhile, Jason, who characterized NFL Blitz as “arguably the greatest arcade game ever created,” discussed Da Bomb’s long-term impact.

“I really think it revolutionized the NFL passing game,” that’s what he stated. “Everyone chose the same play, known as the bomb. It’s what everyone in the NFL does now.”

The brothers also shared memories of using maneuvers like turbo and manual jukes when playing NFL Blitz as adults at Uptown Lounge in Kansas City.

“Nobody could f— with us,” Travis explained. “It was like we were 10 all over again, beating all of our friends.”

Earlier in the podcast, they addressed their desire to acquire the Backyard Sports video game franchise.

They also acknowledged Kelce, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs reaching their fourth Super Bowl in five years.

This time, the squad had an A-list supporter in Swift. The 12-time Grammy winner has attended 12 Chiefs games since she and Kelce announced their romance in September 2023.

Swift has attended nine of those games, and the Chiefs have won all of them.

Swift is unsure whether she will attend the Super Bowl on February 11 in Las Vegas to witness Kelce and the Chiefs face off against the San Francisco 49ers, as she has an Eras Tour stop in Tokyo on February 10.

As fans continue to speculate, the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C., issued a statement reassuring everyone that Swift can travel from Japan to Las Vegas in time for the game.

“Despite the 12-hour travel and a 17-hour time change, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the embassy wrote.
