On Friday, February 2, Kuminga scored 29 points to lead the Warriors to their first back-to-back victory since

December as they crushed the Memphis Grizzlies 121-101. Kuminga shot an incredibly efficient 11 of 15

figured it out and the game has slowed down for him. He’s understanding now when to attack how to attack.” He

In his previous four games, he has played longer than thirty minutes, indicating that Kerr has finally

come to trust him.

“He’s really made progress in the last month,” Kerr remarked. “It’s been incredible to watch because it’s been two

and a half years of hard work and ups and downs.” He has persisted in it the entire time. And what he’s accomplished

simply amazes me so much. And he’s developing into a really good player.

assists without committing a foul.

replied, “I’m a point guard.” It’s simply what I’m meant to accomplish. It’s my responsibility to organize the team,

provide opportunities for others, and foster the development of their confidence.

In the post-Curry era, a Kuminga-Podziemski one-two punch is not out of the question.

“Brandin was excellent,” Kerr remarked. He’s just a basketball player, after all. He is not a shooting guard or a point

guard. As a mere basketball player, the additional ball handling he provides on the court while playing alongside
