Rangers confirmed starting XI v Livingston: 6 changes as Philippe Clement freshens up squad
Glasgow Rangers host Scottish Premiership basement boys Livingston at Ibrox this afternoon, with Philippe Clement’s side keeping a close eye on leaders Celtic’s early game.
The Light Blues will know the outcome of the Hoops’ game against Aberdeen before kickoff, and Clement’s side will be overwhelming favourites to defeat the struggling West Lothian team at home.
If Celtic fall up, Rangers could come within two points of their arch rivals with a game in hand as they try to catch Brendan Rodgers’ side at the top. Livi, on the other hand, are fighting to avoid relegation this season and desperately need a win.
Clement has chosen to make SIX changes to the starting XI that defeated St Mirren 1-0 in Paisley last weekend. Ridvan Yilmaz, John Souttar, Nicolas Raskin, Scott Wright, and Cyriel Dessers are benched, while Dujon Sterling is left out of the matchday squad.
Borna Barisic, Leon Balogun, Ryan Jack, Ross McCausland, Rabbi Matondo, and Fabio Silva join the lineup. Deadline Day signing Oscar Cortes starts on the bench, but Mohamed Diomande is out due to a lack of match fitness, having not played a competitive game since November.
So, here are your confirmed starting lineups for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership battle in Govan…
