Fabrizio Romano says Aston Villa midfielder ‘could be of interest’ to Spurs
Spurs have unsatisfactory transfer business.
Having already acquired Timo Werner from RB Leipzig and Radu Dragusin from Genoa, the Lilywhites have been among the busiest teams this window.
But even with less than a day remaining in the transfer window, prominent transfer analyst and CaughtOffside columnist Fabrizio
Romano suggests Ange Postecoglou might be considering a late bid for another midfield player. Daniel Levy is interested in Jacob
Ramsey, even though Aston Villa does not want to lose him. Romano told GiveMeSport, “Yeah, I think Ramsey could be a player of
interest, for sure.”
However, from what I’ve heard, Aston Villa doesn’t want him to leave in the closing stages. Therefore, nothing is set in stone at this
time, and it appears that Aston Villa is searching for a player to potentially join. For the last two days, this might be the case.
Even though Ramsey has only made four Premier League starts this year, it would be shocking to see Unai Emery approve Ramsey’s
sale, especially since there isn’t much time left to find a replacement. Spurs have also been strongly linked to a mid-season transfer for
Conor Gallagher of Chelsea, but it appears that Armando Broja’s loan at Stamford Bridge is currently the main priority.
