Chris Jack reports that Rangers are pleased Adam Devine left Ibrox on transfer deadline day.

On Thursday, February 1, the reporter for Herald Scotland provided an update on Devine’s future via his personal Twitter profile.

Jack, the fluid logo, was replying to a story published in The Rangers Review on February 1st, which stated that Kilmarnock and

Motherwell are exhibiting tardy interest.

“Premiership interest in Adam Devine. Rangers will allow him to leave on deadline day,” Jack said.

Any deal is expected to be on a loan basis until the end of the season, rather than a permanent exit.

Loan move needed

Devine needs to be on the field more frequently, so it makes perfect sense for him

to transfer to another Scottish Premiership team.

The 20-year-old still has a lot of growth ahead of him, and perhaps one day he’ll be a fixture in the first squad at Ibrox.

Devine has already made eight appearances in the league, indicating that the

Rangers organization holds him in high regard.

Flexible full-back Nonetheless, Devine has only made one replacement appearance throughout the entire season,

and his career could come to an end.

The fact that the young player was not moved out on loan earlier in the month is somewhat surprising, though Borna Barisic and

Ridvan Yilmaz’s situation may have contributed to this.

With any luck, a deal may now be reached in the next few hours with Motherwell or Kilmarnock.

Devine might be ready to compete for more regular starts at Rangers whenever he returns to Ibrox in the summer.

In other Rangers news, it’s said that a form player is still coveted by a foreign team as the deadline draws near.
