Miller gave a practical reaction when asked if Rangers need another striker to rival Cyriel Dessers or take his place:

In response to the question of whether Dessers would be sufficient to win the championship, he concluded by stating,

“I would have preferred to have seen Rangers sign a number nine.”

To clarify, Miller also said that Rangers “could” win the league title with Cyriel Dessers as first choice but that there are more factors involved than that.

Miller is right.

In his current form, Dessers is on course for 20+ goals and 10+ assists.
