Arsenal’s left-back The permanent arrival of Lino Sousa is expected to happen at Aston Villa, as per Italian transfer expert Fabrizio

Romano. The 18-year-old will finish his medical in the next few hours as both teams try to finalize the agreement before Thursday at 11 p.m., when the January transfer window closes.

Sousa moved from West Bromwich Albion to Arsenal in 2022, but he was never able to make his debut for the Gunners. After missing

out on the opportunity in North London, he will be eager to prove himself at Villa, and Arsenal supporters will be watching him to see

if he manages to force his way into Villans manager Unai Emery’s plans.

The teenage Gunners player was also coveted by Rangers, Galatasaray, and Juventus, but Villa emerged victorious in the end.
