A loan move to Rangers until the end of the season is being finalized by Lens winger Oscar Cortés, who is now in Glasgow.

Journalist Pipe Sierra claims that Cortés is now wrapping up his medical exams before finalizing his transfer to Phillipe Clement’s side.

According to him, the 20-year-old is currently in Glasgow getting the necessary medical examinations before leaving the French team and signing a contract with Rangers.

Cortés has a buyout option in the contract, but he hasn’t disclosed how much it will cost. Cortés will join Lens on loan until the end of the current campaign.

But if he makes an impression on Philippe Clement and company,

Rangers can sign him to a four-to five-year contract by exercising the purchase option they have agreed upon with Lens.

This month, Rangers will also be adding Cortés to their roster as

they loan in Fabio Silva and Mohamed Diomande to support Clement.

Cortés is expected to be included in the first team roster as well,

giving the Belgian manager some competition on the right wing,

where Ross McCausland, Scott Wright, and Abdallah Sima are already present.
