Cardiff has held conversations with Celtic about signing David Turnbull.

The Hoops midfielder’s contract expires in the summer,

and it is widely anticipated that he will depart the team during this transfer window or before.

The English Championship team has been in communication with the Hoops to attempt and pull off the latter,

and it’s thought that they will try to do so.

According to Sky Sports,

negotiations between the two clubs are still going on.

Turnbull has only made seven starts in the league for Celtic this year;

in the other nine, he has substituted in.

Even though he has still achieved an amazing seven goals,

it was always likely that,

when his contract expired,

he would look for greater playing time elsewhere.
