Rangers and Lens have “made a deal” for the transfer of Oscar Cortes.
It has been reported that Rangers and Lens have reached an agreement for Oscar Cortes.
The 20-year-old Colombian winger was reportedly Philippe Clement‘s target last night as he continued to reorganize his starting lineup at Ibrox.
The attacker left his childhood club, Millonarios, to join Lens in Ligue 1.
But after making his 11 appearances for the French team, it seems he’s headed for Ibrox.
According to Pipe Sierra, a journalist from Win Sports TV in Colombia, Rangers and Lens have now reached an agreement for the player.
Cortes will now have a medical. The deal will be an initial loan until the summer, after which Rangers will have the option to buy,
though the cost is not yet known. In his first window as manager, Clement has already completed moves for Mohamed Diomande, the
FC Nordsjaelland midfielder, and Wolves striker Fabio Silva. Brazilian full-back Jefte is also nearing completion of a move to Ibrox as
Rangers await the signing of work permit paperwork, which will enable Diomande to begin negotiations with Clement’s team. Fluid

Ecuadorian, 24, only arrived in Glasgow from LAFC in the summer under Michael Beale.
However, it’s thought that Philippe Clement, the new manager, will permit the midfield player to leave the team after just six months.
Only twenty games have he played for the Light Blues since agreeing to a four-year contract.
It was revealed last week that Rangers and Turkish team Rizespor had struck an agreement for the player to start on loan, with a £2 million buyout option in the summer.
It is known, nevertheless, that Cifuentes disliked moving to Turkey.
