According to reports, Tottenham declined the opportunity to beat Rangers and

West Ham to a few big deals.According to reports,

Tottenham passed up chances to sign Mohamed Kudus and Mohamed Diomande

from West Ham and Rangers, respectively. Diomande signed with Rangers

earlier this month after leaving Nordsjaelland, while Kudus joined the

Hammers from Ajax at the beginning of the season.

Kudus has been a revelation at the London Stadium this year,

contributing six goals and an assist in the league to keep West Ham

just a point or two outside of the top five in the Premier League.

In the meanwhile, as Rangers attempt to narrow the gap with

Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership,

Diomande will be expected to get started right away at Ibrox.

Tottenham News claims that Tottenham had the opportunity to sign

both players for a low cost in the past but was unable to do so.

Rumor has it that Spurs received an offer for a mere £8 million for Kudus,

Diomande, and Ibrahim Osman, a reputed target for West Ham,

while they were all at Nordsjaelland.

The three players were supposedly offered to Manchester United and Tottenham f

or the same sum, but both teams turned down the offer.

The three players are currently estimated to be valued at over £80 million,

and as long as they continue to progress at the same rate, their prices will only increase.

Tottenham will be blaming themselves for not signing Kudus,

Diomande, and Osman when Nordsjaelland was offering them for pitiful transfer amounts.

While Diomande and Osman would have been great additions with an eye toward the future,

they could have used a player like Kudus to increase their offensive threat up top.

This month, Ange Postecoglou added two new players to his roster:

Timo Werner, who was brought in on loan from RB Leipzig,

and Radu Dragusin, who joined on a permanent basis.

The Spurs boss recently stated that he was pleased with the club’s January transactions,

but he would not rule out the prospect of making additional additions

before the deadline of next week.

Before Friday’s FA Cup loss to Manchester City, Postecoglou stated,

“I was really pleased that we ticked off the initial objectives we had in our head,

which were someone in at center-half and someone in the forward positions.”

“They’re two men who have really benefited from spending ten days in the

building with us, training, adjusting, and all that.

It’s not simply because we did them early.

Timo and Radu are both in a great position to support us in the future.

“As for the rest of it, as I mentioned previously, we’re always on guard and working,

and if we can strengthen the team, we’ll try to accomplish that.

We’re prepared for anything that may arise, including any possible outgoings.”
