Returning Ravens Player Shares His Feelings Before Sunday
When star tight end Mark Andrews received clearance to play in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the
reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens received some very good news.
For a considerable amount of time, Andrews was Baltimore’s main passing option; however, a high ankle sprain kept
him out of action until Week 11.
It will be his first time attending a conference championship game, and according to Jeff Zrebiec, he is excited about
the chance.
“I’m a huge football fan. I adore the Baltimore Ravens. I adore the city. Andrews declared, “I’m going to give them
everything I got.”
The Ravens’ improved passing offense is the main difference between this season and last year; in 2022, they were
only ranked 28th in passing yards and 19th in passing touchdowns; in this season, those rankings are 21st and 12th,
respectively.
Andrews has 45 receptions for 544 yards and six touchdowns in 10 regular-season games. Over the years, he has
served as a bit of a safety net for quarterback Lamar Jackson.
To make it to the Super Bowl, Baltimore will undoubtedly need Andrews to play like his normal self against the
Chiefs, a club that finished second in the league in terms of total yards allowed and points allowed.
Andrews will surely need to play like his usual self for Baltimore to get to the Super Bowl against the Chiefs, who
came in second in the league in terms of total yards allowed and points allowed.
