Before the January transfer window expires, Rangers might be persuaded to part with

one of their “brightest” players.

Archie Stevens made his first-team debut at the beginning of the 2022–2023 season in a Viaplay Cup

victory over Queen of the South. He is presently playing for the Rangers B team.

Since then, he hasn’t been able to secure any more opportunities, but if Brighton is successful in their

rumored pursuit of our teenage winger, he may be leaving the Ibrox front doors nonetheless.

The Daily Record claims that the Premier League team will make a six-figure offer for Stevens, an

England U18 international at the moment.

The Seagulls have a reputation for spotting youthful potential in the shadows and nurturing it into a

player good enough to compete in the top division in England. And it appears that’s what they want with

Stevens.

According to the same report, the Rangers may profit handsomely from add-ons in the sale and would

sell for a large profit.

Archie Stevens on moving to Rangers

Stevens was picked up by Rangers from AFC Wimbledon in June 2021 at just 16 years old. He had other

suitors interested in him but chose Ibrox because of the sheer stature of the club.

In the summer of 2022, he stated on the Rangers official website: “I moved here last June from AFC

Wimbledon and I just couldn’t turn it down when this opportunity came up.”

“It’s an exciting move for me, and thus far, everything is going great.” Relocating to a new city at such a

young age is a significant event. Even though I was just 16, Glasgow is a beautiful city, and the club has

made it quite simple for me to settle down.

To tell the truth, I gave in right away. A few players joined at the same time as me in the summer, and

we have all made ourselves at home. Among my alternatives, Rangers was the most notable.

Many large clubs believe they have the greatest amenities, but when you come here, take a look around,

and see what’s available, you won’t be able to resist.

“I truly adore the club’s heritage, which is something I haven’t really seen before. I was immediately

taken aback by the club’s enormous size when I finally visited.
