NBA Announces Schedule Adjustments, Including One Hawks Game
The Hawks are getting ready for their game against the Dallas Mavericks tonight in Atlanta, but there has been some news regarding
their next matchup with the Mavericks later in the season, according to an NBA press release.
Two Golden State Warriors games that were postponed due to the death of assistant coach Dejan Milojević last week have been
rescheduled, the NBA confirmed Monday. To allow for the rescheduling, two more scheduling adjustments were made. The four
adjustments to the NBA game schedule are listed below: The Jan. 17 Golden State versus
Utah Jazz game has been postponed for February 15 at 9 p.m. ET.
The game between the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State, which was originally slated for January 19, has been moved to April 2 at 10
p.m. ET. The game between the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas, which was originally slated for April 5, has been moved to April 4 at 8:30
p.m. ET. The April 2 match between Golden State and Dallas has been postponed for April 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
There were injury questions on both sides tonight for the Hawks and the Mavericks ahead of their matchup,
but they were cleared up before the game began.
Kyrie Irving is out for the Mavericks, while Trae Young and Clint Capela are available to play, although Young will be on a minutes
restriction according to head coach Quin Snyder. Despite having elite players like Luka Doncic and Irving, the Mavs offense is not as
elite as you might think. That does not mean that they are not good and effective,
but that they are not at the top of the NBA in scoring.
