After Fabio Silva arrived earlier this month on loan from Wolves, Diomande becomes Philippe Clement’s

team’s second acquisition of the January transfer window.

“I am very excited to join such a historic club and I’ve heard a lot of good things about the team,”

Diomande stated on the club’s official website.

I was persuaded that Rangers was the appropriate place for me after having several excellent

discussions with the manager about his goals for the squad and how I would fit in.

“I’m really excited to get going, team up with my teammates, and run out in front of the Rangers fans at Ibrox for the first time.”

After attending the Right to Dream football program in Ghana, where players like Mohammed Kudus, Simon Adingra, and Kamaldeen

Sulemana were developed recently, Diomande joined FC Nordsjaelland.

The midfielder joined the Nordsjaelland team permanently in the ensuing years, having made his debut for the Danish Superliga team

in February 2020.

“I am really happy to have added Mohamed to our squad, and I am excited to see what he can bring to our team,” Clement stated.I

think he will be a great addition to us for the remainder of this season and for seasons to come based on our chats and what I have

seen of him as a player.
