Aden Durde, the Cowboys defensive line coach, is a favorite contender for defensive coordinator jobs across the league.

According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, the Packers, Rams, and Falcons have all requested permission to meet with Durde about their open positions.

If Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is hired as head coach, he may want to keep Durde as his defensive coordinator.

Durde spent five years with Quinn in Atlanta, where he also worked with new coach Raheem Morris, before joining Quinn in Dallas in 2021.

Durde began his NFL coaching career with the Cowboys as a coaching intern from 2014 to 2015.

The Englishman spent six years playing linebacker in NFL Europe with the Scottish Claymores and Hamburg Sea Devils, and he was a member of Hamburg’s 2007 NFL Europa World Bowl XV Championship team, the league’s final championship. He also spent time with the Panthers and Chiefs’ practice squads.
