Harrison Barnes, a forward with the Sacramento Kings who spent his whole playing career with the Golden State Warriors from the
2012–13 season to the 2015–16 campaign, scored a career-high 39 points on Thursday night against his old team, according to the
NBA on YouTube. Following the game, Barnes talked about how he performed against the Warriors on NBA on ESPN.
Barnes stated, “It feels good.” “We battled for 48 minutes, which was huge because we wanted to start this road trip off right.”
Following the 2015–16 season, Barnes was traded by Golden State. It was amazing to see Barnes,
eight years later, set a career-high point total.

The Kings forward is averaging 11.7 points per game overall while shooting 41 percent from three-point range and 48.3 percent from
the field. In 43 games, Barnes is also averaging 29.3 minutes per game.
Barnes’s season has been up and down personally, but there’s no doubt that Thursday’s performance will go down as one of the best.
He made 14–24 field goals and 7–12 beyond the arc. Furthermore, Barnes made all four of his free throw tries.
With the deadline rapidly approaching, trade rumors have referenced Barnes. Still, the King values Barnes’s seasoned leadership.
Furthermore, Barnes is still obviously capable of putting on some great performances, so maybe Sacramento will decide to hold onto him for their postseason push.
The Kings defeated the Warriors 134-133 on Thursday to improve to a 25-18 record. As of the time this piece was written, Sacramento
was ranked sixth in the Western Conference. The Kings have had a great season,
but it will be intriguing to watch if they can move up in the rankings.
