Glasgow Celtic will want to replace Joe Hart with a new long-term goalkeeper during the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.

The 75-time England international was successful in his first two seasons at Celtic,

winning two Premiership titles, two League Cups,

and one Scottish Cup under former manager Ange Postecoglou.

However, the veteran goalie is nearing the end of his career and has received criticism for several of his performances this season.

The 36-year-old’s current deal with Celtic is set to expire in the summer,

and it is doubtful that he will continue beyond that point.

Brendan Rodgers is reported to be looking for a new shot-stopper,

but is content to have Hart  between the sticks for the remainder of the season.

Rangers midfielder warns he ‘has to work harder’ to make the Euro 2024 squad

Rangers midfielder Ianis Hagi has been cautioned that he risks missing out on this summer’s European

Championship in Germany unless he improves his club performances.

The Romanian international is now halfway through a season-long loan term at Spanish club Alaves,

after been released by former manager Michael Beale in August.

Hagi has only appeared in 14 La Liga games, making six starts.

During that time, he has not scored a single goal and has only supplied one assist.

Romania manager Edi Iordanescu wants to see growth from a player

who formerly played a major role in Rangers’ title success.

Commenting on Hagi, he said: “If Ianis Hagi wants to make a great impression at the Euros,

which I know all of our supporters want to see,

then I told him he needed to strive harder and establish himself at his club.

He is an important player, and I traveled to Spain to tell him I believed in him,

but he needs to start more games. Unfortunately, we have fewer players at the highest levels.

Ianis is playing in one of the world’s greatest leagues, but he should play more.”

Iordanescu continued, “There are both positive and bad signals.

I’ve always tried to react to problems as soon as they arise, which is why I went to visit Ianis.

I trust him and went there to send him a message of confidence also spoke with the coaches at his club.

I am optimistic that he will play an important role for the club for the remainder of the season.”

Hagi has two and a half years left on his current deal at Ibrox and

is set to return from his loan term at the end of this season.
