Jaylen Brown responds to his old teammate Terry Rozier joining a rival
Terry Rozier, who the Miami Heat acquired in a trade on Tuesday,
will be a familiar face for the Celtics on Thursday night on South Beach.
Following the official completion of Miami’s trade with the Hornets, the
former Boston guard is anticipated to make his Heat debut on Wednesday night.
The 6-foot-1 guard, who is expected to fit into the Heat starting five,
was acquired by Charlotte from Miami in exchange for Kyle Lowry and a

Before being moved to the Hornets in 2019, Rozier played his first four seasons

for their game on Thursday, Brown offered his opinions on the agreement.

Rozier had just worked out in Miami over the offseason, which is why
Brown said the transaction made sense. However, Brown intimated that
Rozier will adapt to the bigger stakes well having spent several years playing
for a Charlotte team that was rebuilding.
“I firmly believe that they improve,” Brown remarked. Terry’s athleticism,
playoff experience, and other qualities make him a great fit, in my opinion.
Strong, aggressive, physically fit, with that kind of mentality and playoff
experience—I believe he fits all of that
