KWTX – ARLINGTON, Texas On Thursday, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys was announced as one of the five NFL MVP finalists.
Prescott is one of the MVP finalists along with quarterbacks Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens,
Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers, and Christian McCaffery of the San Francisco 49ers.
In route to a 12-5 record, Prescott concluded the NFL regular season with 4,516 passing yards,
a league-high 36 passing touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
Furthermore, Prescott is a finalist for the Offensive Player of the Year award along with Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.
The 49ers’ Christian McCaffery, the Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill, and quarterback Lamar Jackson of the
Ravens are among the other nominees for the award.
Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and cornerback DaRon Bland are both finalist for the Defensive Player of the Year award, proving
that the award nominees don’t end with the offensive line.
Maxx Crosby of the Las Vegas Raiders, Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns, and T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers are the other finalists for the honor.
The NFL Honors ceremony on February 8 will reveal the award recipients.
