Fabrizio Romano makes encouraging Rangers “concrete” transfer claim
Manager Philippe Clement does not engage in conjecture or discuss which players he is targeting for the Rangers.
The manager of the Gers is convinced that more players will be added
and that his team needs to be reinforced.
Even if he hasn’t revealed who might or might not be coming to Ibrox, Philippe Clement has the support of none other than Fabrizio
Romano to push for additional people to enter.
Philippe Clement backed to make more Rangers additions
Only Fabio Silva has been confirmed thus far, however Mohamed Diomande is rumored to be nearing signing a contract.
Many players, such as Gijs Smal, have been linked to and excluded from games, but supporters are frustrated by the clear dearth of winger and forward-related rumors.
Transfer guru Romano offered some words of optimism to GiveMeSport and hinted that Clement would get some new players in the near future.
“I believe Rangers will consider a few options. They are currently working on a few names, so it’s clear that formal stages of negotiations are about to begin.
With left than a week to go, Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen will be busy for Rangers if they are going to bring in the reinforcements
needed to make a sustained title challenge.
It can only be hoped that, as in the case of Diomande, the board are backing the manager with the
resources that he needs but keeping the names on a need-to-know basis.
