Dan Quinn and Chip Kelly getting a “package deal” to leave the Cowboys?
FRISCO – Chip Kelly’s time as a head coach in the NFL was … eventful.
But he is surely still seen by some as an innovative offensive coordinator
candidate and maybe that’s why there is now a rumor that he might leave
UCLA to jump to the Seattle Seahawks as a “package deal” with Dallas Cowboys
top assistant Dan Quinn. Quinn, we already know, is a coveted candidate for a
head coaching job, and the Cowboys are already preparing for a likely departure.
Who would have thought that he would go to Seattle, where Quinn had been a
Super Bowl coordinator, and join forces with Kelly, the former head coach
of the Eagles and Niners? that we are unaware of. However, a reporter in
the Seattle area seems to have made a connection in a tweet. “I’ve heard
that former Oregon coach Chip Kelly is likely to return to the NFL, and
that it may take the shape of a “package deal” with Cowboys defensive
coordinator Dan Quinn,” writes Shane Hoffman.
“The Seahawks seem like a good fit.”
