Scotish burns;Incredible player begins process to finalise Rangers transfer in January.

Mohamed Diomande is now finalising his move from FC Nordsjaelland to Rangers in a deal worth £4.5million, according to Scott Burnshttps://dailysportnews.co.uk

On Sunday, January 21, Danish publication B.T. published the first story stating that the two teams had reached a consensus over a January transfer.

Scottish Express Sport writer Burns provided an additional update on Diomande,

who coach John Walker has called “incredible,”

Gers deal has shades of Lewandowski, Clement will be keeping fingers crossed

on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday, January 23.

He declared, “Rangers will pay a fee of approximately £4.5 million to sign Nordsjaelland’s Mohamed Diomande.”

“Player is wrapping up his transfer to Ibrox.”

Even if there have been a few days since the initial reports of an agreement were made public,

there is no reason to be concerned about the delay in making an official statement.

Following his return flight from the US training camp of his present club,

Diomande needed to finalize his personal terms with the Gers and clear a number of medical clearances.

Based on Burns’ update, it appears that we have reached that point.

If that is the case,

Diomande will be the next January newcomer to pass through the Ibrox entrance after Fabio Silva.

The club obviously likes the way the Ivorian looks, but the £4.5 million price tag is a bit of a surprise considering it was previously believed a deal under the £2 million threshold had been agreed upon.

He will undoubtedly be a fantastic player if this acquisition has Philippe Clement’s blessing or was really chosen by the Belgian player.

Hopefully, there will be space for a third and final arrival during the last week or so of the window,

once this second agreement closes.

In other Rangers news, Graeme Souness expressed his “concern” about Clement’s hiring in October.

The club is evidently fond of the Ivorian’s appearance,

but the £4.5 million asking price is a bit of a shock given that it was previously thought a deal under the £2 million mark had been reached.

If this transfer gets Philippe Clement’s approval or was truly selected by the Belgian player,

he will surely be an excellent player.

After this second agreement closes, hopefully, there will be room for a third and final arrival sometime in the final week of the timeframe.

In other Rangers news, in October,

Graeme Souness voiced his “concern” with Clement’s hiring.
