Glasgow Rangers, the Premiership championship contenders, are poised to revive their interest in long-term target Million Manhoef.

Back in December, Glasgow World reported that the Gers were the frontrunners to recruit Manhoef in January,

but TeamTalk sources added that the Ibrox club could face stiff competition from Championship leaders Leicester City and fellow Dutch club Feyenoord.

Manhoef is a 22-year-old winger who can also play fullback. He has made over 70 appearances for Vitesse since his debut in 2020 and is regarded as one of the club’s most significant attacking weapons.

Rangers boss Philippe Clement, who is said to be a big fan of the youngster, has apparently taken notice of his quickness and ingenuity.

While Vitesse’s financial difficulties off the field have only amplified speculation of them cashing in on Manhoef.

Vitesse sit at the bottom of the table, with just 12 points and 12 goals in their first 18 games.

Manhoef has been a bright spot for the ailing squad,

and his four goals are regarded as the primary reason they have not fallen further down at the foot of the table.

Vitesse are on the verge of relegation to the second tier,

and their precarious status was regarded to be a potential impediment to Rangers signing the player,

given Vitesse’s lack of squad depth there. According to new allegations from the Scottish Sun,

Vitesse have signed Brighton sensation Adrian Mazilu on loan until the end of the season,

and he plays in the same position as Manhoef.

This transaction could allow Manhoef to leave the GelreDome stadium this month,

raising much-needed revenue for the Dutch team. According to the outlet, Manhoef is worth roughly £2.5 million,

making him an affordable addition to the Rangers squad if they decide to make a bid.

Celtic are ready to accept an offer this month as Brendan Rodgers reduces the team.

Celtic goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist is attracting interest from a number of Dutch clubs as he prepares to leave Parkhead.

The 31-year-old joined Celtic in the summer of 2022, but has yet to make a single league appearance.

He is now the third-best shotstopper behind Joe Hart and Scott Bain,

and it is likely  that he will be sold in the coming weeks, according to Football Insider.

According to the newspaper, Celtic are ready to accept an offer for the goalkeeper,

who has previously played for Aston Villa, Wolves, and Dundee United.
