Lions sign Zach Ertz; will be without starting guard Jonah Jackson for NFC Championship game
Following the injury of tight end Brock Right, the Detroit Lions added tight end Zach Ertz to the practice squad.
It is probable that Ertz will be added to the active roster in time for the NFC Championship game on Sunday.

Before suffering an injury, Jackson completed 18 passing plays without giving up a single pressure.
On 28 pass-blocking snaps, Jackson’s backup, Kayode Awosiki, let up a team-high seven pressures, or a 25 percent pressure rate.
According to Next Gen Stats, Vita Vea defeated Awoski by producing four pressures in five matches.
