‘Enormous presence’: Rangers officially miss on £10.3m target as Bundesliga deal confirmed
Rangers will not be signing left back David Jurasek after Bundesliga club Hoffenheim confirmed the signing of the Benfica misfit.
Rangers appear to be closing in on one new signing with Norsdjaelland playmaker Mohamed Diomande on the verge of a move to Ibrox.
Though there is a critical position of interest at left back, Philippe Clement might want more acquisitions before the window shuts.
Borna Barisic is nearing the end of his deal with the team, and Ridvan Yilmaz is still drawing interest from other teams.
Rangers have been connected to a number of left backs this month, but Kai Wagner may not be the only one to be forgotten.
David Jurasek is officially lost to the Rangers.
According to rumors from the previous week, Rangers was vying to capture Benfica left defender David Jurasek.
Bundesliga teams were also interested in signing Jurasek, although Rangers were reportedly in a “strong” position to do so as of last week.
Still, optimism started to fade on Thursday as Fabrizio Romano claimed that Jurasek was on his way to Germany with Hoffenheim, in a loan move
with a £10.3million option to buy.
