Star Faces Long Flight To Get To Scotland To Complete Rangers Move

The Gers have moved to agree a deal with the Danish side for the signature of the 22-year-old this month.

Nordsjaelland only have Diomande under contract for another 12 months and believe the deal makes sense for all parties.

Diomande will have to take a long flight to complete the move though and, according to Danish daily BT, will fly to Scotland from the USA today.

The midfielder is currently at Nordsjaelland’s training camp in San Diego and faces a lengthy flight to Scotland, where he will then be given a

medical.

Flights from San Diego to London Heathrow typically take in excess of eleven hours and from there Diomande would need to still make his way to

Glasgow.

Diomande is a key man at Nordsjaelland and has turned out over 100 times for the club, scoring 13 goals in the process.

Rangers will hope there are no hiccups with the medical as they look the finalise the capture of Diomande.

The Gers have made just one signing so far this month, with attacker Fabio Silva arriving from Wolves on loan.
