Rangers agree fee for second signing as Ibrox medical scheduled

Rangers have agreed a fee with FC Nordsjaelland for midfielder Mohamed Diomande, according to https://dailysportnews.co.uk

On Sunday, January 21, the publication announced via its web version that Diomande is returning home by plane from Nordsjaelland’s training camp in the United States.

The Farzam Abolhosseini-authored report further states that the Ivory Coast age-grade international will see a Rangers physician “in the coming days.”

Rangers seem to have finalized their second January deal,

three weeks after announcing the loan signing of Fabio Silva from Wolves.

Although not much is known about Diomande,

what has been reported about him in the local media suggests that he is a talented player.

Diomande is a central midfielder who can play more advanced or in a holding role,

thus Philippe Clement can check a lot of boxes with him.

The most thrilling thing of all is that the Ivorian can contribute to goals somewhat frequently; in 32 games the previous season,

he scored five and provided four assists.

Even if there are now two open positions,

a new striker would still be highly welcome at Ibrox before the transfer season shuts.

Although Sam Lammers was shipped off to Utrecht,

the harsh reality is that the Rangers won’t feel the absence of him at all.

It will be an incredibly successful window for the Light Blues if they can now bring in that elusive goalscorer inside the next ten days.

A BBC Sport analyst claims that one Rangers player was disappointed in the team’s victory over Dumbarton, in other Rangers news.

Although not many Rangers supporters would be familiar with Mohamed Diomande,

the signing matches the Ibrox team’s profile.

Rangers, who are from the Danish Superliga,

are hoping to find jewels in the area to sell for huge profits as they try to expand their struggling player trade strategy.
