‘Looks like he’ll be departing’ – BBC Sportsound commentator tips Rangers exit live on air Ibrox News
Rangers appear to be closing in on a new signing with Nordsjaelland talent Mohamed Diomande reportedly nearing a move to
Ibrox.
Rangers have only made one signing so far this month with striker Fabio Silva arriving on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Fans are keen to see more signings arrive before next week’s transfer deadline though and boss Philippe Clement probably feels the same way.
Danish newspaper BT now report that Nordsjaelland have agreed to sell midfielder Mohamed Diomande to Rangers.
Diomande is flying home from Nordsjaelland’s training camp in the United States and will soon undergo a medical.
It’s unclear just how much Rangers are paying to land Diomande, but let’s dig into his career as he prepares to move to Ibrox…
Mohamed Diomande, the story so far
Diomande hails from the Ivory Coast but came through the Right to Dream academy in Ghana, which has strong ties to Danish side Nordsjaelland.
The likes of Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana have made that exact same move, making Nordsjaelland big money.
